3/5 Stars — Mediocre at best compared to LA and SD standards ​I don’t like to bash restaurants, and this isn’t a hit piece—just my honest opinion based on eating at many other all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spots. ​Ultimately, my experience here was just okay. The meat quality was decent, but almost everything lacked flavor. The salad tasted completely plain, even though you could clearly see the dressing on it, and all of the side dishes and dipping sauces were incredibly bland compared to what you get at KBBQ spots in San Diego or Los Angeles. ​As for the service, I've had worse, but I've definitely had better. It was just average. ​Because the meal was mediocre at best, I probably wouldn't return—though that's also because I prefer trying new places. It's a passable option if you just want to fill up, but there are definitely better flavorful options out there.

We had a fantastic experience at Wang Cho Korean BBQ! Our party of 9 had an incredible time enjoying delicious food and excellent service. We chose the King level meat selection, and it was absolutely worth it. The variety and quality of the meats were outstanding, giving everyone plenty of great options to enjoy. The side dishes were fresh, flavorful, and complemented every meal perfectly. Our server was extremely courteous, attentive, and friendly, making sure our table always had everything we needed. Korean BBQ is such a unique dining experience because grilling the meats at your table creates amazing smoky flavors that pair perfectly with the marinades, dipping sauces, garlic, kimchi, and banchan. We highly recommend Wang Cho Korean BBQ and can't wait to return!

Very poor service and unfair treatment. This was actually my second time visiting. My first experience here was good, which is why I decided to come back, but unfortunately, the service this time was extremely disappointing. At first, the server had a nice attitude, but shortly after, he completely ignored our table. While neighboring tables were being attended to promptly, we were left waiting. We tried calling him over several times to no avail. They didn't even bother offering us drink refills. Our grill was completely burnt; we noticed they were changing grills constantly for other guests, but ours was only changed once because we specifically asked for it. To top it off, they informed us that the kitchen was closing at 9:30 p.m. and told us to decide what else we wanted to order before it closed... but the server never came back to take our final order. I essentially left hungry and had to fill up on water. I paid for an experience that was not worth it at all. It’s disappointing to see such a drop in service quality. I do not recommend this place. Great food and good service. Very attentive waiter. No wait even during lunch. Great price on the weekday lunch special! I live in the OC and don’t mind driving to Riverside to eat here.

We had Korean BBQ here and overall, it was a great experience! The first time I came, everything was delicious—and while the second visit had some tougher cuts of meat, I’ve got to say the food is usually pretty solid. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, making it a great place to hang out with family, celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or even enjoy a date night. They have a nice open bar with a great selection of drinks, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and outdoor heaters for when it gets chilly. Whether you're coming for dinner, drinks, or just a good time with friends, this is definitely a go-to spot for Korean BBQ in Riverside!
